Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on her Telegram channel on Monday that Moscow was aware of possible impending US sanctions.

The statement came after US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said that the United States is preparing additional sanctions against Russia over the alleged poisoning of Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny.
