At a ceremony on Saturday to mark the province's 370th founding anniversary and its 48th Liberation Day, Mr. Chinh underscored the need to strengthen the plan on the province's development until 2030, and Vision to 2045, to make it the center of growth of the south-central coastal region, the Central Highlands, and the entire country in marine economy, high-tech industry, science and technology, innovation, human resource training, and high-quality healthcare.
He urged Khanh Hoa to accelerate economic restructuring, reform growth model towards green, ecological and creative development, increase investment in infrastructure, and open up new development space to make the province an important development engine of the country and a connection point with the world.
With its important position, Prime Minister Chinh said, Khanh Hoa needs to combine its socio-economic development and strengthen national defense and security.
He stressed the need to turn Truong Sa island district into a national center of economy and socio-culture at sea, and a solid defense area. He asked the province to improve the efficiency of external relations and promoting international integration.
