The workshop on June 10 marks the 100th birthday of journalist Nguyen Thanh Le.

He was born in 1920 in Ha Nam province and held various senior positions in Vietnamese Party, National Assembly, and Government. He was a spokesperson of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam’s Government at the Paris conference on Vietnam from 1968 to 1973. He was deputy editor in chief of Nhan Dan newspaper and secretary general of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association.
His contribution to Vietnam’s revolutionary press was recognized with the Ho Chi Minh Order.
