(VOVworld)- Japanese Cultural Days opened in Thanh Hoa province on Friday. Organized by the Japan Culture Foundation in Vietnam and Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, the event aims to strengthen mutual understanding and cultural exchanges between Thanh Hoa people in particular and Vietnamese people in general with the Japanese.

The opening ceremony was cheered up with a performance of Japanese drum and traditional musical instruments by Bati-Holic troupe of Japan. The event will also feature lessons on beating Japanese drums, dancing and screenings of Japanese films as well as displays of Japanese dolls and Yukata costumes.
