(VOVWORLD) -Israel’s Army Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi said Tuesday that the Israeli army’s preparedness to launch strikes against Iranian nuclear sites has improved.

He said that if the army is ordered to act against the Iranian nuclear program, it will fulfill the mission it is given.

Kochavi said that Iran's nuclear weapons are the biggest threat in the region and globally, so it’s time to put pressure on Iran to stop its nuclear progress.

The Israeli Air Force recently conducted two drills simulating the bombing of Iran's nuclear reactors.
