The same day, Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Tehran needs “no mediator” for negotiating with the US, adding that the decision to whether they will hold talks should be made by the supreme leaders.
US President Donald Trump said last week he remained open to talks with Tehran if it wants to. According to the US Secretary of State, Washington doesn’t oppose to the offer of mediation to its possible talks with Tehran.
