"I believe the smart city model will be as successful as we expected. The International Education City has the promise to contribute a lot to education  in Quang Ngai province as well as that of Vietnam," said Ms. Nghia. 

After a construction period of 1 year, the Quang Ngai IEC project has been completed. More than 1000 students have registered for the first school year of 2019-2020 at the IEC. In his address at the opening ceremony, Chairman of the Quang Ngai provincial People’s Committee Tran Ngoc Cang said the project is of great importance to education development  in Quang Ngai province. He added that  local authorities encourage public investment in education.

The project, drawn up by the Nguyen Hoang Group, is the first international education system in Vietnam which will  include classes from kindergarten to high school level.
