(VOVworld) – A symposium on developing the socialist-oriented market economy opened in Ho Chi Minh city on Saturday.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said: “Vietnam has been developing the model of socialist-oriented market economy for 30 years. Vietnam’s achievements in political and economic reforms have improved democracy and created an impetus for the nation to move forward in reducing poverty and socio-economic development.”

Deputy Prime Minister Phuc said that Vietnam should continue to fine-tune its market economy institution.
