The event, attended by US Ambassador to Vietnam Ted Osius and Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Tran Van Tung, supported startups in Vietnam. A similar forum will take place in Can Tho on Thursday. Ambassador Osius said a start-up is a type of enterprise that can scale up quickly and is based on intellectual property, technology, and an innovative business model.

Participants identified challenges and suggested ways to support the startup ecosystem by creating economic value and developing science, technology, art, and mathematics in Vietnam.
