(VOVworld) – India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi held bilateral talks with the heads of several African nations who attended the India-Africa Forum Summit in New Delhi on Wednesday, highlighting commitments to push for UN reforms, combat terrorism, and boost trade and investment in the oil and gas sector.

At his meeting, South African President Jacob Zuma called for reform of the global governance system and said the UN structure which was set up after the World War 2 is no longer relevant in the 21st century. He said it was important that all countries come together to reform the UN, particularly the UN Security Council. Both leaders discussed the challenge of terrorism and called for global efforts to combat the threat.
