In a message posted on the IMF website, Georgieva said the IMF has received interest in financing programs from about 20 countries and will follow up with them in the coming days. The IMF stands ready to mobilize its 1 trillion USD lending capacity to aid its 186 member countries, she said urging them to prepare response plans to a possible financial crisis like the 2008-2009 crisis.
