According to the national airline, passengers go through the process quickly and easily on the app, from creating a digital profile, filling in-flight information, getting a message on the app showing “OK to travel”, and presenting it to the ground staff before departing.

The trial will continue to run on flights between Hanoi and Tokyo until the end of August and on a flight between Hanoi and London on September 2.
