Home affairs sector plays crucial role in building service administration

(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has pointed out the home affairs sector’s crucial role in advising the Party, State, Government and localities to build a public administration, which is professional, modern, and efficient, contributing to building a Government of innovation, integrity, discipline, action, efficiency, and for the people to serve.

Prime Minister Chinh on Wednesday addressed the online national conference of the home affairs sector on implementing tasks in 2022.  

"The functions and tasks of the Ministry of Home Affairs are very important as what concerns the apparatus and personnel is the most difficult. Therefore, we must establish standards and rules to strictly comply with, maximize democracy in terms of collective intelligence and listen to others’ opinions to reach a consensus on the principle of democratic centralism,” he said. 

The Prime Minister requested the home affairs sector to continue fine-tuning institutions to facilitate development, galvanizing talents, and making the apparatus of ministries and branches lean and mean.
