Ho Chi Minh City’s Health Department said on Tuesday that the pandemic is under control in the city.
As scheduled, the city will stop the operation of mobile medical stations. COVID-19 cases are now treated at home with the help from local medical stations via tele-medical advice, mostly for high-risk patients. All hospitals in the city must carry on their routine medical examination and treatment with a section to treat patients with COVID-19.
During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic Ho Chi Minh City established 32 field hospitals with 42,800 beds and rearranged 64 hospitals to treat COVID-19 patients.
