In October, it welcomed more than 705,000 international visitors. Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Tourism has adjusted its development targets for the remaining months of the year. Accordingly, it aims to welcome 10 million international visitors, 1.5 million more than the previous goal, and 45 to 50 million domestic visitors, an increase of 5 million.

Ho Chi Minh City's tourism sector maintained positive growth momentum in October while preparing for peak year-end activities and large international delegations. For the remaining two months, the city's tourism sector expects international arrivals to increase by 40%.

With focus on beach tourism, industrial tourism, and cruise tourism, the city will continue to boost digital transformation and green practices across all management and operational processes in the tourism industry.
