Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen said HCMC has sped up digital transformation, built a digital economy, and restructured the economy in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

This is also the city’s new orientation toward developing quickly, sustainably, and adapting to fluctuations around the world, he added.

Through the forum, Mr. Nen said, HCMC’s authorities will receive many valuable ideas to implement the digital transformation program efficiently and adopted proper policies to bolster the digital economy.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai suggested that Ho Chi Minh City continue to improve its investment environment to fully tap into resources for production, trading, and services.

He asked HCMC to increase cooperation, exchange, and learn from other countries, with breakthrough way of thinking, strategic vision, and practical ways of implementation.
