Cuong called on authorities at all levels to assure an injection rate of 95% in all communes and wards.

Professor Dang Duc Anh, director of the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, said: “In addition to vaccination locations at given medical stations in communes and wards, we have set up mobile vaccination teams in disadvantaged areas with unfavorable transport conditions. Health workers will bring vaccines to each family to inoculate their children at home thus increasing the vaccination rate in remote areas.”

According to the Health Ministry, it plans to add more vaccines to the national expanded vaccination program.
