Ho Chi Minh City Hospital for Tropical Diseases

At a working session with the hospital on Sunday, the Deputy Minister asked the hospital to manage closely and strictly those who have had close contacts with Covid patients to avoid cross-infection and shortage of medical staff. According to Deputy Minister Son, the Hospital will temporarily stop accepting Covid-19 patients for one week during the temporary lockdown. The Department of Health will arrange hospitals for Covid-19 treatment.

The Hospital for Tropical Diseases and the Cu Chi field hospital had recently been transformed into healthcare facilities to receive and treat COVID-19 patients only in Ho Chi Minh City.
