HCMC receives 3 million COVID-19 vaccine doses, the most in the country

(VOVWORLD) - As of July 31, HCMC has been provided with 3 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines, estimated at 22.3% of the vaccination demand for people aged 18 and above, reaching the highest allocation rate in the country so far, according to the Ministry of Health.

On July 24, the Ministry of Health announced its vaccine allocation schedule in 2021, in which HCMC will receive about 13.8 million doses to vaccinate approximately 99% of people from 18 years old and above.

HCMC has administered around 1.5 million COVID-19 vaccine doses so far, with 1.3 million people receiving one dose, and 75,000 getting full two shots.
