Chairwoman of the committee Tran Kim Yen told the event that the two-year program "For Green Truong Sa" will mobilize all resources to improve the soil, grow green vegetables and trees, especially windbreak, increasing the tree density on the islands.

The program will run until April 30 or until the expected target of 76 billion VND is reached.

Every year the city will organize trips to give gifts to officials, soldiers and people in Truong Sa island district.
