The plan aims to increase the use of public transport to 20-25% by 2020. The Nguyen Trai-Tran Phu section will be among road sections prioritized for buses. The city will continue to expand bus routes to outlying and popular areas such as new urban developments, shopping malls and entertainment centers. It will build between 46 and 51 new bus routes by next year, 21 of which will be established this year.
