People who return to the capital from places considered COVID-19 hotspots must provide negative coronavirus test results before entry within three days of their arrival. The city's health officials have so far recorded more than 60 positive cases since July 4.
Hanoi authorties are also planning a large-scale COVID-19 vaccination campaign, targeting all people aged between 18-65.
