Mr. Dung told representatives of foreign-invested enterprises in Hanoi that since the beginning of this year, Hanoi has attracted nearly 1.3 billion USD in registered investment capital despite COVID-19.
More than 6,600 foreign invested projects worth a combined registered capital of nearly 49 billion USD are currently operating in the capital city, according to Secretary Dung.
“COVID-19 has hindered production and investors’ travel. We understand these difficulties and are doing all we can to contain the pandemic as quickly as possible and help foreign investors recover,” he said.
