The project is invested by the Management Board of Hoan Kiem Lake and the Hanoi Old Quarter. The 1,000 sqm villa, which is located at the intersection of Hang Bai and Tran Hung Dao Street, was built by the French in the early 20th century.

The villa will be restored with an effort to keep the maximum original look using both conventional and modern technical solutions.

It will be turned in to a French cultural exchange centre in Hanoi. The villa is expected to become a new tourism attraction and a venue for cultural exchange and trade promotion events.

The project is scheduled to be completed in March, 2023.
