Hanoi Mayor Nguyen Duc Chung

At a meeting of the Hanoi Steering Committee for Covid-19 Response, Mr. Chung stressed the importance of accelerating tests and asked local authorities not to leave the city and get ready to work anytime.

He called on the local people to stay calm and confident in disease prevention measures that the government and city are implementing. He said: "The next two weeks are the critical time in disease control. We need to be more resolute in curbing the spread of the disease. With the public support, we can prevent disease transmission in the community."
