Trump was found guilty of 34 counts on Thursday in a trial related to his falsifying business records regarding a payment made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election.
According to Reuters’ poll results, 10% of registered Republican voters said they might not vote for Mr. Trump; 25% of registered independents made the same decision.
According to Reuters, Biden is now leading Trump by 2% of the votes. Morning Consult's poll results showed that 54% of respondents agreed with the court's ruling, 51% rated Trump unfit to be President, and 15% of Republican voters think Trump should end his 2024 election campaign after being found guilty. Notably, 70% of respondents said the criminal cases against billionaire Trump should be resolved before the November 5 election.
