In 2021, Hai Duong ranked second in Vietnam in agricultural production. 130 agricultural products of the northern province have qualified for 3 or 4 stars in the national One Commune One Product (OCOP) program, and 2 products have met 5-star standards. Thanh Ha lychee has been exported to Japan, the US, Australia, Singapore and other foreign markets.

“We will pay special attention to building trademarks of agricultural products, collective marks, geographical indications, and product traceability,” said Trieu The Hung, Chairman of the Hai Duong provincial People's Committee, said.

“The province has stepped up advertising and trade promotion, especially the introduction of agricultural products on e-commerce trading floors, and linking scientists, businesses, and farmers to help Hai Duong's agricultural products participate in value-added chains, from cultivation to harvest to processing to sales.”
