The same day, leaders of the Lam Dong Provincial Fatherland Front met with representatives of revolutionary contributors and outstanding ethnic minority people.  

An art performance also took place at the Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery in Quang Tri Province. Le Quoc Phong, First Secretary of the Vietnam Youth Union, said: “The heroic martyrs devoted their youth to national liberation and independence. We hope that the younger generation will always treasure the values of peace and live, study, and work to deserve the sacrifices of their predecessors.”
