The program aims to maintain the rate of poor households according to the multidimensional poverty line from 1% to 1.5% per year, reduce the rate of poor ethnic minority households over 3% per year and 30% of poor districts and 30% of extremely difficult communes in the lowlands, coastal areas and islands will escape poverty and extreme difficulties.
The rate of poor households in poor districts is set to reduce from 4 to 5% per year. By 2025, efforts will be made to reduce 1-2% of the number of poor and near-poor households compared to the period that began calculating the national multidimensional poverty line, according to the program.
