According to Mr. Dung: “The most important solutions are to push up crude oil exploitation, deal with 12 inefficient projects, and complete key construction projects. The Prime Minister was particularly keen on the farm produce market, developing agriculture through value chains, high-tech agricultural production, application of advanced technology, and finding ways to realize a credit package of 4.5 billion USD.”

At the Government’s monthly meeting for April on Thursday, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has asked ministries and localities to devise a detailed plan to fulfill set targets, in which responsibilities of individuals and units must be specified.

“Each ministry and locality should devise solutions to speed up the implementation of their plans, address difficulties, boost production and trade, disburse capital, and secure new markets for domestic consumption and exports,” said Mr. Phuc adding “It will be essential to develop the processing industry and create a more favorable environment for production and exports.”
