Speaking at a meeting on Friday between the permanent government members and ministries and sectors,  Mr. Phuc praised the zones’ management and development, but noted that numerous difficulties are lying ahead. He called for determination to fulfill tasks, saying the success of the key economic zones will contribute the Vietnam’s success.

Prime Minister Phuc asked for more strenuous efforts to attract investment and apply technological advances to develop production. Emphasizing the task of  environmental protection, he said key economic zones must take the lead in saying no to single-use plastics.
