The press conference was held right after a national teleconference between the Government and Vietnam’s 63 cities and provinces, and after the Government’s December meeting, which took place earlier the same day.

Leaders of ministries and sectors answered reporters’ questions relating to culture, vehicle registration, and construction of social housing.

Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Duc Chi said the Ministry has suggested a series of solutions related to fiscal and tax policies in support of citizens and businesses this year.

He said the Government will manage monetary and other macro policies to ensure macro balances for stable economic development.
