He told a year-end review meeting of the sector in Hanoi on Wednesday that ministries and sectors should take specific action to promote e-government and IT service outsourcing in line with local context, build a national public service portal, and evaluate information safety index. Mr. Dam said: “Laws and regulations must take into account the impact of the 4.0 industrial revolution. The government will address issues in broadband, pricing and frequency. The Ministry of Information and Communications should review its responsibilities, especially in database building.”

The Deputy Prime Minister also asked the Government Office to prepare for the launching of a national public service portal to facilitate social economic development.
