‘Focus’ newspaper said the EVFTA is now just waiting for the EP to approve it. The INTA called the EVFTA the most comprehensive and ambitious agreement yet between the EU and a developing country.

The ‘South German’ newspaper said the EVFTA is quite certain to be approved next month.

German news radio Deutchlandfunk  said now that the INTA has given the EVFTA a “green light”, the Vietnamese National Assembly will likely approve the agreement this May.

The ‘Topagrar’ information website said that the INTA's support paves the way for ratification of the free trade agreement, which took eight years of negotiations.
