The Gemalink port, which covers 72 hectares on the Cai Mep River in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, belongs to Port Group No. 5 under the Government’s master plan.
The Gemalink port enjoys the advantage of a convenient location at the mouth of the river with a deep turning basin. When finished, a 1,500m wharf will allow the port to receive 3 large vessels at the same time, with a capacity of 200,000 DWT per vessel.
Gemalink International Port is joinly invested by two major corporations in the field of maritime and port operation, Gemadept Joint Stock Company of Vietnam and the CMA-CGM Group of France.
