Vahid Jalalzadeh, Chairman of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, said French President Macron expressed interest in continuing negotiations on to revive the 2015 nuclear deal and said that if Iran makes certain concessions, Europe will be able to persuade the US to revive the deal.
Jalalzadeh said the Swiss president also conveyed a message from Washington requesting a direct bilateral meeting with Tehran.
He insisted that Tehran will not budge from its position on the necessity of resolving the safeguards issues before reviving the nuclear deal.
