(VOVworld) – French newspapers have reserved their front pages to cover President Francois Hollande’s Cuba visit with positive comments.

On Monday, the daily ‘Le Monde’ ran an article entitled “Cuba’s visit makes François Hollande the king of French economic diplomacy”, saying the two countries will focus on expanding bilateral economic and trade ties. This visit, in addition to Hollande’s earlier visit to Gulf countries, is expected to bring France big export contracts, according to Le Monde.

The visit was featured in 6 pages of the daily ‘Liberation’. An article called “Cuba – an island of connectivity” analyzed current relations between France and Cuba and future cooperation prospects, now that Cuba-US relations are being renewed.
