(VOVworld) – A number of hotels and restaurants in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province, held a Chung cake making festival for foreign visitors from February 13 to 15.

Foreign visitors were instructed to make Chung cakes, square sticky rice cakes, and decorate peach branches themselves during their holiday in Ha Long bay. The cakes they made will be distributed as Tet gifts to poor households in the area. The number of foreign visitors to Ha Long bay is expected to rise this year. Room occupancy rates in Bai Chay tourist site have reached between 85 and 90%.
