Mr. Hoang Binh Quan, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations, at a ceremony to announce the 13th National Party Congress to foreign diplomatic missions and organizations, January 18, 2021.

Mr. Hoang Binh Quan, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations, said the Congress will adopt 5 documents including a political report and elect members to the Party Central Committee for the 2021-2026 tenure.

“The Communist Party of Vietnam pays special attention to personnel work, considering it a key step of core tasks. The work has been carefully prepared to ensure a united, strong, transparent, and innovative Party Central Committee which has a strategic vision and persists with the goal of national independence and socialism,” he said. 

Mr. Quan said the Party Central Committee invites representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations to attend the Congress’s opening and closing ceremonies.
