(VOVworld) – 128 flower markets for the Lunar New Year holiday open in 19 districts in Ho Chi Minh city on Thursday.

Many varieties of bonsai trees and flowers are available including apricot blossoms and great chrysanthemums. Besides the domestic flowers, there are also many kinds of exotic plants.
The prices have not increased much during Tet. Traders said they transported flowers from the Mekong River Delta provinces to Ho Chi Minh city several days ago.
Nguyen Thi Ngoc who owns a flower garden in Ben Tre province sells her products at Le Van Tam Park’s flower market. "I have sold flowers at the Tet flower market for several years. Customers prefer flowers at reasonable prices and they are easy to take care throughout the Tet season."

The flower markets will remain open until next Wednesday.
