Five more COVID-19 patients discharged from hospitals

(VOVWORLD) - Five more patients have recovered from COVID-19 and were discharged from hospitals in Vietnam on Friday, raising the total number of recoveries to 307.

The remaining 21 patients continue to be treated at medical facilities.

Vietnam has recorded no new COVID-19 community transmission for 50 consecutive days.  

There have been 188 patients being brought home from abroad before being quarantined. No death was reported.

There have been 6.7 million infections all over the world. Nearly 400 thousand died from the disease. The US maintains the world’s epicenter, followed by the UK, Italy, and Brazil.
