Facebook launches blood donation tool in Vietnam (Photo: VNA)

After registering, users will receive notifications when a blood donation program is open in close proximity.

According to Facebook, user location information will be used to access blood donation opportunities in the area. Facebook promises that advertisers, including blood collection centers that use Facebook's blood donation tool, will not target ads to an individual based on that person's registration.

Blood donation tool on Facebook has been operating since 2017 and is available in 43 countries with more than 100 million subscribers.
