(VOVworld) – The head of EU delegation to Macedonia, Aivo Orav, said on Tuesday that Macedonia might not be granted its EU membership this year.

He said that if the country’s political crisis didn’t show any positive signs of movement by the end of August, Macedonia’s negotiations to join the EU could be halted.
However, he also noted some positive signs recently, including a National Council meeting held with all Macedonia’s political parties.
