The list of official candidate cities for the European Banking Authority (EBA) and the European Medicines Agency (EMA) after 2019 will be published on Tuesday. The main EMA candidate cities that have been publicly announced so far are Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Helsinki, the northern French city of Lille, Stockholm, and Barcelona.
UK Prime Minister Theresa May’s spokesman said the free movement of people from the European Union will end in March 2019 when Britain leaves the EU. Other elements of the post-Brexit immigration system will be brought forward in due course, he said, adding that the UK is not looking for an “already available” post-Brexit solution.
