If carried out as planned, this 6.2 billion USD pipeline will take gas from Israel and Cyprus's recently discovered offshore gas reserves to Europe, potentially reducing European dependence on Russian energy. Feasibility studies have been completed and the pipeline will likely be in operation by 2025.
