(VOVworld) – The Ministry of Public Security met on Wednesday to review the implementation of the party resolution on its strategy to safeguard national security in the new era. Delegates also reviewed the 8-year implementation of a Directive from the Party Politburo on increasing leadership to ensure national security in the new era. They agreed that over the last decade, despite complicated regional and global situations, Vietnam has been able to maintain its national security under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Minister Tran Dai Quang asked all relevant forces to decide on their own action programs and provide consultations to party committees and local administrations to help realize the strategy to safeguard national security today.
