He made the remarks while chairing a working session with the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education in Hanoi.

“The Association must practically contribute to building a learning  society and foster a culture of lifelong learning,” Party leader Lam said.

Efforts to promote education and nurture talent must be substantive and effective, aimed at raising labor productivity and expanding knowledge to create development opportunities for all, particularly in border areas, islands, ethnic minority communities, and disadvantaged regions, he noted. 

The Party leader called on the Association to upgrade community learning centers into digital learning hubs and to play a leading role in connecting businesses, social organizations, overseas Vietnamese, and the international community to generate sustainable, transparent, and equitable resources for education promotion and talent development.
