(VOVworld) - Foreign donors have promised to provide 89 million USD for the Khmer Rouge tribunal in 2012-2013. Spokesperson of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC) Neth Pheaktra said yesterday/ on Monday that many world powers, including Australia, the EU, Germany, Japan, and the UK, have voiced their support for and confidence in the trial process. Pheaktra emphasized that the commitments were good news as many Cambodian staff members involved in the tribunal have not been paid since October last year.
