Recognized by UNESCO in 2010, the Dong Van Karst Plateau preserves more than 550 million years of the earth’s evolutionary history. Layers of sediment accumulated over hundreds of millions of years from the Paleozoic to Mesozoic and Cenozoic eras have formed a rare “open-air geological museum” in the world.
