(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc worked with the Central Military Party Committee on military judicial reform until 2020. He asked the committee to stream military investigation agencies in military zones and Hanoi in particular. The committee was also asked to adjust the investigating authority of military courts.

Military judicial reform will focus on improving the quality of investigations, prosecutions, trials, and executions in order to avoid unjust rulings and ensure the legitimate rights of agencies, organizations and individuals. It will also help to fine-tune the organization and operation of judicial agencies in line with the Party Politburo’s Resolution 49.
